Because of the crinkled paper, the flowers are very textured no matter how you make them. I cut the crinkled paper into strips, reversed them in the middle and glued them into strips to make paper flowers
I used cotton balls to make the heart of the flower and cut the crinkled paper into different shapes to show the flowers. The watercolour painting does not work as well as the pastels, but it gives a great watermark effect.
