I had read The Gap of Time before I read The winter tale, I prefer the original story of The winter tale, it's really hard not to love Shakespeare when you're young, so romantic, passionate and spirited. The Bohemian prince's line, "A descendant of my love," is so charming.
They should not laugh if I could reach them, nor shall she within my power.
All proofs sleeping else but what your jealousies awake—I tell you’ tis rigour,and not law.
The self-same sun that shines upon his court, hides not his visage from our cottage.
